
Painter, Calligrapher, Collage Artist
Vivid, luminous color , energetic line, and finely balanced composition are the principal elements in Phyllis Moser’s
work. Her paintings are a combination of abstract and realistic elements influenced by thirty years of experience as a
calligrapher. Ms. Moser is also an accomplished collage artist.
The artist holds a B.S. in Art Education from Kutztown
University. She has studied calligraphy with nationally
recognized calligraphers including Timothy Botts and
Shiela Walters. Her work is found in private and institutional collections, including Millikin College (Decatur, IL), Christ
Hospital and Medical Center (Oak Lawn, IL), and the
Smithsonian’s National Postal Museum (Washington, D.C.)
